Peter Hetz – Board Member and Treasurer. Peter started his working career in Kenya (1977) as a research fellow with the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife and assisted the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya to establish the Baharini Wildlife Conservation Education Center. He has taught natural resource management at the University of Nairobi, Makerere University in Uganda, and the Institute of Resource Assessment in Dar es Salaam and served in various capacities with the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), CARE International, Tanzania National Parks. Peter works for the Laikipia Wildlife Forum (LWF) as the Executive Director. The LWF membership model represents the height of citizen engagement in a common natural resources management and conservation agenda.
