Pat was born and raised in Kenya. She obtained B.S. in International Relations, Lock Haven University in the U.S., and currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya. East African history, wildlife conservation issues, and elephant behavior and conservation are her interests and the Director of the Pan-African Wildlife Conservation Network.
